Student Success Stories

Real Students.
Real Careers. Real Nahata Professional Academy.

We do not collect testimonials. We collect stories. The difference matters — and it is the reason every account on this page is structured the way it is.

We Do Not Collect Testimonials. We Collect Stories.

The difference matters. A testimonial is a sentence written to reassure someone before they buy. A story is an account of what actually happened — where a student started, what changed, and where they are now. Stories are harder to collect and harder to fake. They are also the only form of social proof that actually tells you something useful.

Every story on this page is a real account from a real student. Names and details have been included with permission — and where a student has requested anonymity, their background and outcome remain, and their name does not.

Background: CA Intermediate student. Two unsuccessful attempts. Growing self-doubt. Parents anxious. No clear direction.

Riya arrived at Nahata Professional Academy not to enrol but to understand whether there was still a path forward after two CA Intermediate attempts. She was 22. She had spent three years on a qualification that had not yielded results, and the gap between where she was and where she had imagined she would be was becoming harder to ignore.

The counselling session with CA Gaurav lasted an hour. It was not a presentation about ACCA — it was a conversation about Riya's background, what she had studied, where she had struggled, and what she actually wanted her career to look like. By the end of that conversation, the picture had changed. Her CA Intermediate work had given her 9 ACCA exemptions. She was not starting from scratch. She was starting at Applied Skills level — with the foundational work already behind her and a globally recognised qualification path in front of her.

She enrolled in Nahata Professional Academy's live ACCA batch. CA Gaurav structured her preparation to build on what CA had already given her — the financial accounting and audit foundations — while teaching the IFRS framework and strategic professional thinking that CA does not cover. The SBL case study preparation was intensive. CA Gaurav gave her individual feedback on every mock answer she submitted.

Two years after enrolling, Riya cleared her final Strategic Professional paper. She used Nahata Professional Academy's Career Development Center to rebuild her resume and prepare for Big 4 interviews. Three months after her results, she accepted an offer from a Big 4 audit team as an ACCA associate.

She does not describe her CA attempts as failures. She describes them as the foundation her ACCA qualification was built on — and as the experience that made her a more resilient professional than she would have been if the first path had been easy.

Background: BCom graduate, Indore. No professional qualification. Unclear career direction. Assumed ACCA was 'only for people going abroad.'

Arjun graduated with a BCom from a college in Indore and a clear ambition he could not yet name. He knew he wanted finance — the kind of finance that involved real business decisions, not just compliance and year-end filings. He had looked at MBA programmes. The cost and the uncertainty had put him off. He had heard of ACCA but filed it under 'international — not for me.'

His first conversation with Nahata Professional Academy's counselling team lasted 45 minutes and disassembled three years of assumptions. His BCom had given him 9 ACCA exemptions. He was not starting at the beginning of a 13-paper qualification — he was entering at Applied Skills, with 4 papers already credited. The ACCA he was being offered was not a three-year full-time commitment. It was a focused 18-month journey, manageable alongside part-time work, with a professional designation and a clear career target at the end.

He enrolled in Nahata Professional Academy's online live batch — he was in Bhopal, the hybrid model worked for his situation. He cleared FM and FR in his first sitting. The Nahata Professional Academy career bootcamp produced the resume and LinkedIn profile that would eventually get him his interviews. He cleared his Strategic Professional papers 18 months after enrolling.

He is now a Financial Analyst at an IT services MNC in Pune, working in the FP&A team on budgeting and forecasting. His starting salary was more than double what his BCom classmates accepted in their first roles. He is two years into his work experience submission for ACCA membership.

He is also — quietly, without being asked — the person his younger cousins call when they want an honest answer about what to do after BCom.

Background: 27 years old. 5 years of accounting experience. INR 4.5 LPA. Invisible to the employers she wanted to work for.

Priya had tried to study ACCA before. She had bought study texts, watched videos, made it halfway through FA before losing momentum to the demands of a full-time job and no one to hold her accountable. When she came to Nahata Professional Academy, she was cautious in a way that came from having spent money on a qualification attempt that went nowhere.

She said as much to CA Gaurav in her first session. His response was not a pitch — it was an assessment. Her work experience already counted toward ACCA's PER requirement. Her BCom gave her 9 exemptions. And he was honest with her about something most institutes would not say: no placement cell was going to place her into an MNC finance role. That was not how the experienced-hire market worked. What he could do was give her the qualification, a study plan built around her actual schedule, and honest guidance on how to position herself for the FP&A-adjacent roles that her combination of experience and ACCA would make accessible.

She enrolled in the weekend batch. CA Gaurav built her a study plan around two hours on weekday evenings and four hours on Saturday mornings. She cleared her Applied Skills papers across three exam sittings. Nahata Professional Academy's Career Development Center rebuilt her resume — not as an accounts executive but as a finance professional with ACCA Applied Skills cleared and Strategic Professional in progress — and helped her understand which roles to target and how to apply.

She applied to six roles during her final exam preparation period. One of them — a financial analyst position at a manufacturing MNC — offered her the role before her final paper results came out. The salary was nearly double what she had been earning. She accepted.

Her ACCA certification arrived four months later. She has since referred two colleagues to Nahata Professional Academy's weekend programme.

Background: 31 years old. CMA India qualified. 7 years of cost accounting experience at a manufacturing company. Targeting FP&A. Unsure how to make the transition.

Vivek knew what he wanted. He had been in cost accounting for seven years — good work, stable income, and a growing conviction that he had reached the ceiling of what his current credentials could get him. He wanted FP&A. He understood, intellectually, what FP&A was. What he did not know was how to get there from where he was.

He had researched CMA USA. The overlap with his CMA India qualification was real — the management accounting foundation was there. What he was unsure about was whether the qualification alone would make the difference, or whether it would just be another credential that looked impressive and changed nothing.

"He did not tell me it would definitely work. He told me what CMA USA could do, what it could not do, what else I would need to do alongside it, and what a realistic timeline for the transition looked like. It was the first honest answer I had received from anyone in the finance education space." — Vivek, on his first counselling session with CA Gaurav

Vivek enrolled in Nahata Professional Academy's recorded CMA USA professional track. The study plan was built around his work schedule. CA Gaurav's FP&A transition sessions were specifically targeted at his situation — 7 years of cost accounting experience, a clear industry background, and a qualification that positioned him for the strategic finance roles his experience alone had not been able to reach.

He cleared CMA USA Part 1 in five months. During his Part 2 preparation, he began applying for FP&A roles — with a resume that CA Gaurav had helped him reframe around strategic finance competence rather than cost accounting function. He cleared Part 2 four months later. He accepted an FP&A Manager role at a large FMCG company two weeks after his results.

Background: Class 11 student. Commerce stream. Parents unsure whether to add ACCA alongside school. Enrolled in Prarambh.

Ananya's parents came to Nahata Professional Academy for a Prarambh counselling session when she was in Class 11. Her father — who had heard of CA but not ACCA — was sceptical. His question was direct: would this hurt her board exam preparation?

CA Gaurav's answer was equally direct: done correctly, no. Done without the right structure, yes. The counselling session was not about convincing them to enrol — it was about understanding Ananya's workload, her study capacity, her board exam schedule, and whether the Prarambh programme as Nahata Professional Academy offered it was actually right for her specific situation. The session lasted nearly ninety minutes. At the end of it, the family enrolled.

Ananya began FA1 and MA1 in Class 11 — structured around her school timetable, with Nahata Professional Academy's explicit commitment that if board exam preparation was ever at risk, ACCA work would pause. It never needed to. The accounting concepts in FA1 and MA1 reinforced her Class 11 Commerce syllabus more than they competed with it. She completed FA2 and MA2 in Class 12 alongside her board preparation. Her board results were among the strongest in her school.

She entered ACCA Applied Knowledge level in the month after her Class 12 results. She was 17. She completed Applied Skills while pursuing BCom. By the time her BCom peers were researching post-graduation qualification options, she was preparing for her Strategic Professional papers.

Ananya cleared her final ACCA papers at 22. She is the youngest ACCA member Nahata Professional Academy has produced. She is currently working at a finance advisory firm in Indore, where she mentors two Prarambh students in her spare time.

Her father, who was sceptical at the initial counselling session, sent his younger son for Prarambh enrolment when he reached Class 11.
