CA Gaurav Sabharwal did not begin his career in education. He began it in practice — as a Chartered Accountant who went on to work at a Big 4 firm in advisory and audit, and then in investment banking at Nomura. These are not credentials on a wall. They are the context behind every concept he teaches — the lived experience of the institutions, the transactions, and the professional decisions that ACCA, CMA USA, and other global finance qualifications are designed to prepare students for.
At some point — and this is the decision that defines CA Gaurav as much as his professional background — he chose education. Not as a fallback, not as a parallel activity, but as a deliberate pivot toward something he believed mattered more than the next deal or the next engagement: the ability to change the career trajectory of students who would otherwise not know what was possible.
He brought his Big 4 experience, his investment banking exposure, his practicing CA work, and 15 years of teaching into Nahata Professional Academy's Chief Career Mentor role. He is not a figurehead. He teaches CMA USA and ACCA personally. He conducts the counselling sessions that set the tone for every student's journey. He runs the career transition sessions for working professionals that no other institute in the market offers.
